Manfroto BeFree One - not very tall but very compact and very light. Purchased to go in flight hand luggage (folds to 32cm and weighs 1.3Kg) or for when the Manfrotto MT190X is too large or too heavy for the day's assignment !
Lowepro Whistler BP 350 AW Backpack. New addition to my Kitbag is my Kitbag. Expensive but very well made with loads of space. Dimensions are suitable to most, if not all, Carry-On Hand Luggage.
Cable Release. Some would say essential, but you can always use Mirror Lockup and a 2 second timer. Useful, however if you want to be ready on the shutter release and want to take an photo immediately without waiting for the time to release the shutter.
